What is EPC?

Energy Performance Certificates present the energy efficiency of dwellings on a scale of A-G. The certificate includes recommendations on ways to improve the home’s energy efficiency to save money. If you are buying or selling a home you now need a certificate by law. From October 2008 EPCs will be required whenever a building is built, sold or rented out.
